Humans know about vampyres. They've known for a very long time. Many famous people are vampyres, in-fact Shakespeare was a vampyre! About half the humans hate vampyres and the other half don't mind them. People of other religions tend to dislike vampyres the most because vampyres have allied themselves with Nyx, the goddess of Night.
They do not attend House of Night. House of Night is a fledgling school. The only time a human is allowed to attend House of Night is if Nyx has gifted them with an affinity like visions. Humans in House of Night are very rare.
