The sound of tires crushing rocks and little creatures with its touch started to bore the red haired girl. This mission had killed off everything she stood for, her friends, her life, her honesty and the truth. Never did she got the chance to explain to Kenny why she suddenly had to leave, no she just had to ignore him all the time, ignore her best friend, the only friend she had.

And even he was gone now. Tears rolling down her cheeks as the adult vampire next to her tried to calm her down on her way back to the house.

It was for your own good Hayley. You needed this, we needed your powers. that was what she was good for.. kissing gross bad guys to safe a fledling kid.. The red head looked out of the window, watching the house coming closer to her sight as they sat there. A small bump under the wheels made her look up and back at what they hit.

YOU IDIOTS! YOU HIT A SQUIRREL! she called out with big green eyes, obviously upset with what she saw happening here. The driver growled something about animals enough here, and the vampire just sighed. What did they think they were doing? They hit an innocent little animal, who knows what eh would do with his life.

Hayley sat back crossing her arms over her chest like some childish brat and waited for the car to stop. Once it stopped no one got out faster than her. Almost flying towards the doors and ignoring the calls of the vampires, Hayley ran up the stairs to see Kenny. She knew him, oh she knew him better than anyone, so much they had to discuss, and so scared she was about him being mad.

Hayley wouldn’t blame him for getting mad at her. She practically deserved it, his anger, an outburst, maybe a punch to the face. Hayley slammed her own door, ran up to her own bed and sighed sad that she didn’t see Kenny.. But surprised how much of her stuff was replaced.. orderly packed up and some even unpacked again.

Someone got here with busy hands. Hayley raised a brow and heard a noise from behind her. The sound of cookies and a jar made her ears happy, her smile appeared since only one person knew about the secret cookies.

Kenny.

Hayley didn’t know what to do or say or think for that matter and just prayed for a miracle as she made her way to the closet where she hid her cookies.

As soon as Kenny heard Hayley was coming back he got himself straight to work. He didn't plan on waisting anytime all all! Estelle held called him to her office, at first he thought he was in trouble, but it turned out that his best friend was coming back to the school. He found out the exact day she would be here so he could get to working on her surprise.

Logan was the only down fall to this. He had to cancel their plans to hang out after classes so he could meet up with his best friend. A promise to her hoped it would help. He promised to make it up to her by taking her somewhere special with a surprise. He even ordered her favorite flowers then sent them to her room with a note saying "Forgive me."

Currently, Kenny was working on getting Hayley things put back together. Warriors had come in to set up her room, however, Kenny complained until they left. He would be the one to do it. Of course, all her more personal items he kept in boxes for her to sort out. Other things like the bed, dressers, pants, shirts, pictures, nic nacks and such he either put together of put up. The bed he needed to spend more time on because a few things were missing from it. He had found them quickly, though, in a different box.

Now, her bed was up and made, her dresser and inn table in place, clothes in order... everything was perfect apart from the personal boxes stacked up. Luckily, all the boxes where labeled with what was inside... At least he wouldn't have embarrassed her or himself by pulling out underwear... or something along those lines.

Fast footsteps. Hayley! Kenny grabbed the cookie jar then booked it to the closet where he stayed perfectly still. Yes, Kenny made Hayley her favorite most secret cookies for her return 'home' present. Of course he made the kitchen a mess. Estelle had gave a warm laugh while the maids only glared. But it was fun. He had become an excellent cookie baker, as odd as that sounded, from helping Hayley with her cookies. He didn't mind though.

The slamming door brought Kenny from his thoughts. That was Hayley alright. He remembered those footsteps from anywhere.
Raddle. He shook the jar so it would make a noise to catch her attention.

Soft foot thuds reached the front of the closet. He couldn't help it, but he was smiling from ear to ear. He was sure he looked like an absolute dork when the closet door swung open.

"Hayley!" he set the cookie jar down so he could pull Hayley into a tight hug. "Welcome back! You've missed a lot. It's good to see you again!"

All day she kept thinking of how to explain her absence to her friend. Hayley had no one else but Kenny and that might be the reason why they needed her as well. All she really had to do was charm those morans, so she could reach the child that had to be marked, but why, just why had it to be a royal? Hayley shook her head lightly, she would just tell him and be done with it.

Her poison green eyes fixed on the closet when she seriously heard noises out of the place. Looking around to check if she wasn’t going nuts by what she heard her eyes were fixed on her bed again. They really thought she would die? Or leave forever? Did they have so less faith in her? Licking her dry lips, shrugging off the heavy weight of guilt and sadness Hayley made her way back to the closet taking the knob smoothly.

Another sigh as she opened the door and looked right into Kenny. Her eyes grew big , totally surprised why he was hiding in her closet. He had a smile up from ear to ear, his eyes looking happy, his face very goofy. He called out her name and before she knew it she was pulled into an hug. Kenny wasn’t mad? He wasn’t upset or even insulted she left without a word?

Kenny?![/b] she said heavily surprised holding him tight as well. Her best friend, a cookie jar on the ground, oh how she missed him all these months. Hayley chuckled as she pulled back from the hug and looked at the happy grown Kenny. Sizing them up he was way taller than she could remember.

Raising a brow she only smiled. I bet I did. Its good to be back. [/b] she said with a happy smile and hugged him again. Looking down at the cookie jar she raised a single brow again. Kissing his cheek she reached out for it and picked it up, it wasn’t the lightest cookie jar in the world though.

You had vision about me didn’t you? she said with a chuckle and opened the jar with delighted eyes. Closing it again she placed it next to her bed and snapped her fingers with a wink. She held up a tiny crystal she saw on her trip and held it out for him.

At least I owe you a gift too then right?[/b] she said with a chuckle and placed it in his hands.

He stepped out of her closet, shoving his hands into his pockets. They did have a lost to catch up on. It had been a couple months since she had left; so plenty of chatting would be going on. He would let the lady speak first then himself. But only after he let her know something...

"Thanks." he laughed taking then small crystal from her. "You're getting good at that. This will go on my inn table." he smiled putting the crystal in his pocket, then replaced his hand there. Last time he saw her she had been struggling to copy water drops.

"No vision. Estelle told me you were coming back. She said you were being transferred to another school.. I take it that was a lie? They only reason she would lie would be to keep a secret." he frowned thinking of Estelle lying to him. If she had known Hayley would be coming back then why pack her things? Probably to make the lie sound more realistic... Why would she transfer without her things? She wouldn't. Estelle had to lie to him?

"Uhm, I put your things back up. All but those boxed over there," he pointed to the personal boxes. "I made a mess in the kitchen making your cookies. The maids were pretty upset by it." he laughed sitting on her bed.

He took a look around to make sure he got her room right. He had placed the items exactly where she had them before... It looked right. He didn't do as bad as he thought he did.

"Why did you leave?" he finally asked. His eyebrow arched quickly. Curiosity was settling into him more quickly then he liked. It wasn't everyday a best friend returned from Goddess knows where. He knew he would have to explain how the vision ended and what all she has missed. The vision saving story could wait. As much as he would love to tell her he survived a bullet wound he wanted to hear her story first.

Hayley was happy to see Kenny, she was happy to see his smile, the cookies were a huge surprise since she kind of thought he would forget her and never wished to see her again. Though she never was told, what they told him either. Placing her hair behind her ear in a shy way she bit her bottom lip and smiled looking at Kenny and his movements.

Smiling as he seemed to like the crystal she blushed a bit and nodded. Its getting better every time again. she said with a nod. Hayley used to be unable to produce friggin waterdrops on a rose.. this was only pure luck in her eyes and a lot of practice. As he spoke hayley’s eyes grew.

A transfer? Really? So she actually lied… how fun was that? Hayley jumped onto her bed and looked around like a small child exploring her room. its looks great, and you should make it up to the maids. she giggled and watched him sit on her bed as well. It was weird because he was unlike other men not always here or at all.

Hayley just couldn’t see why Estelle lied.. there was nothing to lie about, no reason or right. But Hayley wasn’t going to argue or yell, it might cost her her life. With a happy sigh she looked at the so familiar walls, the personal boxes and everything that looked like it was hers. His question was of course one she had to see coming.
well the day before our plan to go to the field to save that boy, I was called out of bed around 2 am. The vampire said I had to come, that what I had to do was important and that I wasn’t allowed to tell anyone, he didn’t even let me leave you a note. she spoke softly, hating what she had to do.

he said I had useful powers, that it would make me able to save a life. And so I came with him and went to the other side of the world. Somewhere in china… I had to kiss ugly Chinese men… women… and slowly had to save that kid with the vampire.. we had to stay in china’s school for a while until the news had faded and came back as fast as I possibly can. she said and looked down.

I missed you, and they found me a pain in the ass. she said but smiled at the last words.
