Pondering authors

With the sun finally asleep and the moon high Reyna made her way to the library. It was Saturday and she was enjoying the warm crisp night air as it brushed against her skin. With summer on the rise the temperatures were rising and it reminded her of home where is was constantly hot except here there weren't any nice beaches to sit and relax on. Especially with all of the perverts, thugs, and weirdos out here that wasn't something she wanted to risk. She could handle them though, years of being a latina blood had taught her how to take care of herself.

But still she felt that having to protect herself while trying to have a good time wasn't something she felt like doing. So instead basking under the glow of la hermosa luna, she was going to hang out in the library for a while and catch up on her reading before going out into the city for her ball room dance competition.

"Hola te pierdas," Reyna smiled to the librarian as she headed into the large room that was the library. "I'l be in the back if you need me." With a bag over her shoulder filled with papers to grade she took a seat at the counters in front of the windows, her favorite spot. Shedding the cardigan that covered her slightly revealing tank top. Checking her watch she mad a mental note that she only had three hours. Out the corner of her a blue book caught her eye and she moved to get it. Peering up at the tall bookcase she wondered how she was going to reach it.

Dragging a chair over to the tall case she lit a cigarette fully aware that she wasn't supposed to be smoking in the building. But she couldn't help it this was a task that required her to be centered because if she didn't do this right she was sure to fall. Standing on a padded chair in four inch heels was never a good idea. Reyna sighed and shifted her black rimmed glasses, dressed in a green shirt like dress and leggings this was proving to be the start of a rather long day.
