Personality: Jormun is generally a calm yet incredibly sarcastic being, with many of his mannerisms being inherited from his father, Loki. Growing up with an aggressive older brother and younger sister as well, Jormun would always be the one who had to instil some order during arguments, meaning that he can keep a level head in even the most hectic of situations, but if you hurt some he cares for, then you better get the hell out of his way.

When Jormun is angry, he is ANGRY. He shows no mercy to anyone he considers as immoral or someone who has harmed people close to him, physically or emotionally. A number of his powers are affected by the state of his emotions, meaning the angrier he gets, the more uncontrollable his powers become. The fact that he beat another Asgard to near-death for trying to hurt his sister should speak measures of how protective he gets of the people he loves.

Fears: Being part of another near-extinction event, losing people he cares for, getting a host killed.
Powers: Jormun, during his time in his own body, had a wide range of powers, but because of his current state as a mere spirit limits him somewhat. He always has a pair of powers when he first controls a host body, telekinesis and manipulation of one of his own inventions, Hel Fire, affectionately named after his sister. Telekinesis is the movement of objects with his mind, whilst Hel Fire is a specific type of fire invented by Jormun which only burns what he wants it to burn. He could cover an entire building in it and it wouldn't even scorch the paint if Jormun didn't will it.
History: Born during the early days of the Asgard, Jormun showed signs early in his life of both being a great warlock and an intelligent inventor. As such, when he was old enough, he was trained in how to use his powers to keep the universe stable. Being a son of Loki, Jormun was constantly harassed and bullied by other members of the Asgard, pushing him to achieve more and more in his life. Being the middle brother between the personification of a a wolf and one of the fieriest girls in existence, Jormun was constantly called upon to settle arguments between the two, even in his later years when he was near thousands of years old.

During his "teenage" years, Jormun and the rest of the Asgard would constantly visit our universe (or Midgard, as they called it) to intervene in various acts of genocide, meaning that he was trained in the art of fighting early on in his life. This, along with his ability of being a talented inventor and manufacturer, meant that many of Jormun's inventions were armour and weapons for himself and his fellow Asgard, each one delicately crafted and styled to the individual user.

The final few years of the Asgard's reign began with a personal tragedy for Jormungandr. He was forced into an epic battle with his brother, Fenris, which left the other man dead. After this, Jormun panicked and came to Midgard where he attempted to defend a small village against a massive horde of soldiers alongside his sister to try and make up for his previous bad deeds. During this time, he fell in love with the village jarl's daughter, a young woman by the name of Enja. When the time came for a final battle between the town and the army, Jormun found himself joined by a dozen of his fellow Asgard, including Thor and Odin. They were able to beat back the opposing the army and finally return home to Valhalla, but not before Jormun had impregnated Enja with a child, a half-Asgard half-human girl who would long outlive her mother.

Around 4 decades after this, Nyx decided that the Asgard were of no more use to her and, in a move that could be considered insane, she decided to wipe out the Asgard, but she did not count on a small handful of them working together to leave their physical bodies and travel to Midgard and inhabit it as spirits, forced to move from host to host. Amongst these Asgard was Jormun, who had been talked into it by his sister, who also took part. After years of leaping from one host to the next, Jormun has finally found himself in the body of Seamus McAllister, a young Scottish boy who is a werecat and currently enrolled in the Chicago House of Night.
