Red Fledgling Handbook 101

So we don't have too many spoilers, fledglings can be marked as red instead of blue, but they will be rare.

If you want your red fledgling or vampyre to have a history like the books go ahead, that's fine. Go down to the last post and read.

The red fledgling appearance is almost the same as a normal fledgling. When their emotions are high, however, they tend to have red eyes. The red eyes also come through when they are drinking blood. Their eyes return to normal with stable emotions. The other difference is they have a red crescent moon instead of a blue crescent moon.

They have an extreme bloodlust and want blood way before a blue fledgling. They do burn in the sunlight. They can't stay awake when the sun is up, or if they do they can't function well.

Unlike the other red fledglings (fledgling by the white bull/death) they have their humanity.

The abilities are almost the same. The only difference; they can control the minds of others and even erase the memories. For example: A red fledgling can mind control a human to give them their money then erase the memory of them ever doing it.

Red fledglings who attend school are forbidden to use this ability. Nyx's council has made it against the law to use it anywhere. Reds can still have normal affinity's like the blue fledglings.

Completing the change is the same as the blue fledglings.

They have dorms in the basement because of the other reds. The other reds died to become red fledglings, therefore, feel safer underground. It's where they were meant to be when they 'died'. Marked red fledglings can be in the basement dorms or in the normal dorms.

First, you need to know about the White and Black bull. These two bulls have been around since the very beginning of time and are consistently fighting each other for good over evil/evil over good. The white bull is evil and the black bull is good. Many people don't understand, know, or dabble with these bulls as they are very ancient and hard to understand. They manifest in the Other World. The Other World is where the 'after life' is. It's also where Nyx's Realm is. They rarely ever make themselves visible on Earth. The two are so equal not one could win over the other.

We Are Marked Reason; The white bull tries to bring some fledglings back as reds to make them evil in hopes of defeating the black bull. The school tries their best to keep them civil and help them keep their humanity. It's their decision in the end of what they choose.

To become an adult red vampyre the person has to choose 'Good' over 'Evil' (find their humanity) or chose 'Evil' over 'Good'. If they choose Light they get their humanity back, or most of it, and if they choose Dark they loose every bit of humanity they had. Keep in mind, that just because they don't have all their humanity means they're all dark and evil. They're not. It's what they chose to be. The can complete the change at ANY time unlike the others who have to spend four years.

Some red fledglings have, on We Are Marked, decided to go against Nyx and 'Light' and act on the 'evil' desires. They will not survive long though unless they have an adult blue or red vampyre with them. This is because of the pheromones mentioned in the Fledgling Handbook 101. These fledglings are usually mostly seen by red eyes, a horrible smell, and dirty.

Spoiler Reason; To become a red fledgling they had to die. The student fledgelings (BLUE) who were too weak to make the transformation, choked on their blood and "died". The Red fledglings were brought back to life by a book character in hopes of making an evil red fledgling army. If you plan on making a red fledgling it's best you know the books. You can still play one though if you haven't.
