Please read the Fledgling Handbook101 before you read this handbook. Please read Zain Carvators app before you make a werecat. He's history is important for werecat fledglings to know.
Here is the basic information about the werecats:
• Marked with a gold moon outline as a fledgling and a filled in gold moon for an adult. Like vampyres, they will gain tattoo markings as they develop. Often once the change is complete, a tattoo of their specific cat type will appear on their back on the right shoulder.
• Change/marking is the same as vampyres
• Same grades as the vampyres
• Imprinting can still happen with them
• Vampyres and werecats were never to be seen as lovers and while not forbidden, it is generally looked down upon
• Werecats are not sterile
• The werecats are seen as the protectors of the vampyres
• Each werecat is ‘drawn’ to their vampire. Not in the way of love but in the need to protect, like an older brother/sister
A bit more specific information pertaining to each year of the werecats life at school:
• The first year (third former) of the change they will not actually shift in anyway, by the beginning of their fourth former year they will have their first shift and be placed into their specific cat type
• For fourth, fifth and sixth former years, the werecats will shift each month on the moon
• Once the change is complete they will no longer have to shift with the moon and will be able to shift at their choice.
Specific Cat Types:
• All werecats will have increase senses and speed and strength.
o Lions will have more strength than all others.
o Tigers will have more speed.
o Leopards will have more agility, be more graceful and smooth in their movements. They are the stealth hunters of the night.
Due to the werecats have specific needs of their beasts and of learning to fight properly, They will attend special classes:
• Special classes; fighting, protecting, connecting with their beasts• Specific classes for each year;
o Third former – Connecting with their beasts o Fourth former – Understanding their beasts, focusing on the beginning of their fighting skills
o Fifth former – Learning the basics of protecting those around them
o Sixth former – Free periods to hone and sharpen all skills learned. At the end of the year, before the full shift, the adult werecats will test the skills of all sixth formers
