The 'Pet' Cats
Cats share a special alliance with vampyres. The cats in the House of Night choose who they want to be with and stick by the vampyre until the end. They choose their vampyre not the other way around. They are not owned as pets.
The cats are also free to roam where they wish in the House of Night school.
