Falon walked down the halls of the House of Night heading towards the library. She wanted to email her parents. Plus, she needed to do something. She was so... bored! At least Reianin was with her. Sitting on her shoulder looking around. Her small body fit perfectly. Reianin was a Devon Rex kitten. Beautiful as could be. And Falon met her when the small kitten was only two weeks old. And Falon had just arrived at school. Only six weeks ago. And they had taken to each other really well. So Reianin had claimed Falon as her own. And they had been inseparable since.
Falon continued down the hall and turned into the library and checked in with the librarian. She went to the computers and went to her email. And thought about what she would write. And an idea came to her.

Sorry I haven't emailed you recently. School has left me really busy. Although I am understanding things really well. Plus, I now have a cat... or she has me. As my teachers say. Her name is Reianin. And she is a beautiful Devon Rex. And she is only 8 weeks old. Weird huh? I finally have a cat. To bad you guys aren't here to see her. But since Dad is allergic, I guess he won't be able to see her anyways. But for now, I guess I can send you pictures. So how have you guys been? I hope everything is okay. I can't wait to see you again. Well I got to go. I have to do some studying.

And then she clicked send and went to her journal and started writing a paper for her Vampyre sociology class. Of course she was in the red class instead of the blue class. But she really didn't care. As long as she was in a class she was fine. By the half hour mark on the computer, she had gotten to the third page of her paper. By this time, she was just letting the words flow through her into her hands. Not really thinking. This is how she usually writes. And she always gets a A. So she saved her paper to her documents and logged off. Deciding it was time to go to class. She had woke up early just to write some of her papers. Well late for humans. It was around 7:45pm and she had only woke up 45 minutes ago. And Had spent 15 minutes eating, and then she went to work on her essay. And now she was bored again.

  The last thing Kenny wanted to do was to wake up to homework. He promised himself yesterday he that he would get his homework done in the morning so he would have the day to himself. He didn't like procrastinating but still didn't want to do any work. If he were lucky, he would find a way to put it off until later.
He grabbed a bottle of water and headed to the library. Vampyre Soc. class had a research paper do on Monday and he needed a book to finish up his essay.
The library was pretty empty from what he could see. A few students here and there were working on something or another. At least he wasn't alone in this. A book called 'Vampyre Way of Life Adavanced' was what he needed. It had loads of information on how vampyres lived but it was a sixth former type of reading. Oh well. Kenny didn't care as long as he passed. With passing his classes comes leaving the school after the Change... If he completed it anyway. Also, it was a good read for him snce he had such big dreams and hopes for his future.
"The Road to Success." He read the first page title. "Good enough for me. First line starts off good the whole book should be good." Kenny tucked to book under his arm before shoving his hands into his pockets.
He had been about to leave when Tarzan come strutting into the library. "Hey Tarzan." Tarzan sneezed at him then took off the right. Kenny watched where Tarzan was heading to. Falon! Tarzan hoped up on Falons lap then jumped up and laid on the keyboard.
He couldn't help but laugh. "Sorry about that Falon. Tarzan must be wanting attention." At Kenny's word Tarzan began purring like an 1800s steam ship. "How have you been, hot stuff?" Hot stuff, babe, love, lovely, belle, and more were names he used for most of his female friends. Falon would be used to these name too. He smirked pulling a chair next to hers. He could talk to a friend before homework! Not harm in that.
He sat the book on the little table in-front of him as well as the bottle of water.

Falon was just logging off the computer, she could feel the sun rising and she felt exhausted. She jumped like fifteen feet when Kenny came up. She knew someone had been in the room, but she didn't realize that he would be coming up to her. But when she looked at Kenny she smiled. "You scared the shit out of me! I've told you before, don't walk up on me like that!" She said, smiling, and smacked him on the arm. Grabbing his water bottle. She opened it easily and took a sip. Grinning. "Thanks for the water." She giggled sheepishly. "So where have you been sleepy head? I've been awake all night." She joked. Red fledglings can't stay awake during the day so Falon was awake all night. "So, maybe you should read the whole book. It should only take you a few hours if you actually read it." She used air quotes when she said read. She always joked with her friends this way. "Okay, I can only talk for a few minutes. Then I have to go get a drink" She smirked when she said drink "and go to sleep. The sun is almost up." She continued. Getting sleepy.
