Hello this is me who I am and who I am meant to be


Dear Journal

My name is Jacob Kurt whitlock No my name is Raven Nicola Darkwood and I am a monster…the funny thing is I don’t really feel like a monster, but it’s what I am…now before you begin to ask questions I am not a murder, rapist or a creepy pedo or anything…I am a Fledgling. That means I am going through the change, yeah when most kids go through puberty they get deeper voices, me I become a blood sucking fiend. Enough about the woe is me stuff…i need to tell you about me, I am 15 years old and gay, my parents are deeply connected to the people of faith…my father is a minister of the church…A few week after my 15th birthday I came down with the monster flu, well at least at the time I thought it was the monster flu truth it was my body going through the change from in the closet teen to in the closet fledgling.

Yeah, My parents they tried many methods to purify my body in the end they resorted to beating the crap out of me…imagine if they knew I was gay, they would killed my ass…I ran away from home after they beat me up and made it to the house of night…I learned that when I started the house of night I began a new life and that meant I could become anyone I wanted to be so after a thought, I became Raven Nicola Darkwood…I liked the name Raven and Nicola was the name of a classical musician and as for darkwood well I thought it sounded cool…but after hearing the names of some other fledglings I kind of feel like a lame-o.

When I woke up on my first day night at the house of night well I met this great high priestess…then I met my roommate Kenny Hao and Simba the sadist kitten. What can I tell you about Simba…I adore him he is so freaking adorable he is a pillow hog, and he has this knack of getting into trouble some of the other students call him a menace to society…just between us I kind of agree with them, I mean Simba pounces me from nowhere, He bites and scratches me and he licks my face when im asleep...and the stuff he does its just bizarre…but then everything he does makes me smile it makes me laugh…something I need right now. I am so alone and I don’t want to be alone…i am scared too I don’t know what is happening to me, I feel stupid I mean I don’t know anything about Nyx, , blue or red fledglings…vampyres other than their soulless monsters…my parents made sure I never learn anything about it by taking me out of the classes at school…they would say to me “Jacob their demons without souls that kill and feed on the living that’s all you need to know”

I often wonder how will would the fledglings react if they knew my father was a minister of the people of faith. Do I like being a fledgling I honestly don’t know. I do know I miss my school glee club, music is something I love, but acting is my passion which is why I dream of becoming a famous singer and maybe be a broadway actor….but the path of a warrior it’s kind of interesting too Anyway I have to go Simba is chewing on my shirt…I swear the cat is freak, but he is my freak…even though it’s I that belongs to him not the other way around.

I was thinking, since Jasper is questioning his sexuality(i'm gonna make him gay) that he could start going out with Raven, and find out he is full on gay. They could start off as really close friends, and then start going out. Like the idea? Also, even if they do become lovies, I was thinking Jasper could be Ravens protector. Since he is a werecat fledgling.
