I wanted to clear this up for those who are confused.
Red fledglings and vampyres have been around for only three years. There are three ways to have become one.
Werecats have been around for three years but have only surfaced for four months. Zain Carvator is the first werecat ever. He was Marked as an adult along with Holly Carvator to help those who were marked as fledglings. They stayed hidden on Nyx's request. All werecat fledglings who are under fours month marked went to the House of Night. Those who were Marked longer than four months were with Zain and Holly.
