Personality:: Kenny is a calm cat he is quiet and clumsy, At first Aphrodite worried about Kenny when he kept running into thing, but she accept that he was a clutz, along with that Kenny seems to be the stereotypical lazy cat he sleeps a lot, occasionally he follows Aphrodite around, but he usually leaves that up to the dog. Kenny adores Aphrodite, he normally puurs for her when she is depressed, Kenny can be rather cute too when he is in the mood he often plays with Shadow

Personality::Shadow is loyal towards Aphrodite ever since she fed her while he was on the streets, since then she follows her around even on the school grounds despite what the other fledglings or vampyres think. Shadow views herself as Aphrodite’s protector, she goes with Aphrodite to all her classes and rituals, she has a habit of scaring any guys she feels unworthy of Aphrodite, usually she gives the cold shoulder to them or growls and stands in front of Aphrodite protectively. Shadow gets on well with Kenny, at times she can be frustrated with Kenny for his slack attitude she feels Kenny should be helping out and help protect Aphrodite, but they are friends and they do play together from time to time.

Personality: Aphrodite is a peculiar young lady she is very different compared to other fledglings. She is a kind hearted and sweet young woman. She is always willing to help and protect others and give people chances. Aphrodite has a sense of naivety and innocence about her, she is very intelligent and profoundly gifted, but portrays herself as naïve. Aphrodite is also very cunning and able to deceive others even under extreme situations. She has this warmth about her that can make everything cold and distant go away and ease wounded hearts. She could be described to be like a deity. Aphrodite also had a quirky side doing very bizarre things she had a quirky side to her. Aphrodite loves the house of night with all her heart, she views the place as her home and never wants to leave it, she intends to become a teacher once she goes through the change

Aphrodite is very mischievous, she has a genius for pranks and trouble often finding herself in difficult situations, she is very independent and charismatic she often uses her charms to get what she wants, an example would be that she would pout and try to look adorable to get out of trouble, she would often poke her tongue out when being naughty. She is actually very strong willed and determined along with courageous she isn’t afraid to make a stand and fight for her beliefs. This is described as half of who Aphrodite is, the other side of her is quite difference she is the high priestess in training.

When it comes to being a high priestess in training, she takes her duty seriously almost to a fault. She spends a great deal of her time in Nyx’s temple worshiping her goddess in her own way. She also councils the friends of those who reject the change helping them cope with their pain, she also leads the dark daughters and sons and spends time working on rituals and exclusive events for the organization and then for the school. She visits the sick in the infirmary and calls spirit to encourage and ease pain to the point of physical exhaustion if necessary and then she has school work. She struggles to find balance in her life being a high priestess in training; the leader of the dark daughters and being her self is very taxing and exhausting for her.

At times she can be short tempered and impatient, Aphrodite. She also hides her own fears from her fellow fledglings; she craves blood and struggles to control her lust for it. Under all this is the real Aphrodite the fun loving and partying Aphrodite. She is fiercly loyal to the house of night and will use all of her power to protect it.

Aphrodite has two stages of hanger, the first stage is just either acting out in forms of being fair but over critical, along with harsh which is the most common stage of her temper, the second is when someone threatens the life of a fledgling/vampyre or her house of night, when that happens she becomes very quiet and you can feel the wrath inside her, and you can see the anger in her eyes that’s cold and brutal.

At times Aphrodite can be extremely hard on herself, she pushes herself to her limits and beyond in order to grow stronger, meaning she trains herself when using her affinity always trying to push her limits to become stronger, not because she wants to use that power, but so she has the power to protect the house of night and all who dwell within it.

Earth: Aphrodite has incredible control over the affinity of earth, she is able call on earth to aid her. she has numerous ways of using her power from offensive to defensive. Aphrodite can use her powers to hurl rocks of various sizes even move multiple rocks simultaneously as projectiles. Aphrodite could form a gigantic stone fist out of many smaller rocks to attack an opponent she could change earth from one form to another and manipulate it. An example would be shifting mud to a more solid form and using mud as a weapon. She could manipulate wood as it’s also apart of the earth.

Apart from forming a gigantic arm to attack Aphrodite can do other things like creating cylinder shaped pillars of earth to stand on or use as stepping stones. She can create a dome of earth to entrap others or use as a protective shield. Along with that Aphrodite can create a basement type base using the earth, by shifting the earth to make the top dense and under it the ground would be empty so people could be safe underground, the only way in would be through a manhole used for entering it. Aphrodite could make furniture made from earth too of course nothing electrical, but stuff like chairs, couches & beds she could make it easy to sit or sleep on by breaking apart some of the earth to make it into sand. Along with that Aphrodite can break apart the earth into tiny particles and create sand and use sand as a weapon. Aphrodite can also use the affinity for earth to comfort others. so many ways to manipulate the earth it all depends on her imagination. When Aphrodite uses the affinity of earth she has this green light that glows around her hands Depending on how much power she draws on the earth is the amount she will glow.

Spirit: Aphrodite has the affinity for spirit she is very close to spirit she is able to use spirit to encourage others and ease their pain although it doesn’t physically make the wound heal she can make it bearable for them. Aphrodite can also use spirit to enhance her voice or make herself feel strength she can also use dual affinities meaning she can use spirit in conjunction with her earth affinity to strengthen earth, she can do this with other affinities. Perhaps one of the most powerful things Aphrodite can do with spirit is muster up all her spiritual power with the affinity for spirit and launch it into one powerful assault, this can damage a person’s spirit badly causing them serious pain. This comes with one damaging side affect her soul will shatter.

Telepath: Aphrodite has been blessed with a new gift from her goddess known as telepathy she is able to read the minds of those around her and establish a telepathic bond between herself and another so they can always know where each other are and communicate with another. Along with reading people’s mind she can speak to that person telepathically by sending her thoughts into their head. Aphrodite struggles this blessing at times she cannot control it and the voices overwhelm her, but this usally happens when she is upset[locked until after the change]
History: Aphrodite was born as Lucy Smith a young girl born in Kansas City, Missouri. She had a normal life growing up in a normal household with her mother Paige and father Clark Smith, she has a younger brother named David, Lucy had little interest as a child, one of them was not beauty contest she loathed the pageants even though her mother made her enter them. At the age of 9 she was already little miss princess, it was sad but a few years later when Lucy was ten her mother was killed in a hostage situation, leaving her devastated. Lucy had was in a great deal of emotional pain and she struggled like her father and brother, but she also kept them together. It wasn’t long after that lucy and her family moved to Chicago to start over. As she grew older she became the mother figure of the household, she would cook her father and brother breakfast, prepare their lunch and then cook their dinner she did cleaning around the house and basically sacrificed her childhood.

At the age of 15 Lucy was going through normal girl drama’s, trying to get a boyfriend trying to pass Spanish and hoping to god that Mr Mac wouldn’t try to surprise pop quiz her in Math. Lucy was normal as a girl could be, she was even being chased pursued by two of the football jocks, not that she was interested in either of them. One day Lucy felt really sick, she like she had a really bad head cold, she managed to go out with her friends to the mall when she was found by the tracker and marked, Lucy was scared out of her mind at first, she was reluctant to return home out of fear of what her father would say.

It was out of surprise that her father was totally cool with it, he helped her backed her bags and drove her to the house of night. Lucy was given a new name and she chose Aphrodite after the name of her favorite Greek goddess in mythology. Aphrodite’s fledgling year was pretty uneventful she didn’t make much of a splash, she learned about Nyx and did her homework, with the world of vampyres so interesting to her she did more than what was needed making her somewhat an over achiever in the mythical subjects. Aphrodite soon loved everything about being a fledgling she embraced herself. It was in Aphrodite’s fourth year that she discovered her affinities; the first affinity she discovered was earth, one day during a shopping trip with friends Aphrodite a group of guys harassing a new fledgling female who had forgotten to cover her mark. Aphrodite stepped up to protect the frightened fledgling and she followed her instinct and called earth to her to protect them, using the affinity for Earth freaked the guys out and they ran away.

It was the start of her 5th former that Aphrodite discovered her affinity for spirit when she comforted a school mate who’s friend did not make the change, she asked for spirit to comfort her and to her surprise spirit listened. It wasn’t long after that High priestess Estelle Had made Aphrodite the leader of the Dark daughters and high priestess in training throwing her world into chaos as she tried to find a balance to be a normal fledgling teenager, a high priestess in training. Recently Aphrodite returned home from a shopping trip with a stalker dog named shadow who adores her and is very protective of her, much to the annoyance of the cats and some of the teachers.
