History:
Zain was born into Italy and lived a quiet, settled childhood. He is the twin of Xerius Carvator. His parents only had two children who they gave their full attention too. Zain made good grades throughout his whole schooling allowing him to become become an exchange student to a school in America. Zain spent a year in America as a student before he decided to move out on his on the live at the age of eighteen. There he met the love of his life in college, Holly Ambler.
Xerius moved soon after to be with his brother and his mate to live in Tampa, Florida. Zain announced his love for Holly and asked her to be his bride at nineteen years old. She happily agreed. The three then moved to Alaska to live a quieter lifestyle.
Some years later Zain left for the grocery store. He and his wife never made it to the grocery store that day, someone ran into their car knocking the two out. A few days later he woke up in a cellar with a very strange man. The man never spoke to him, asked him questions, or would ever answer him. All he knew was he was away from his loved ones...Where was his wife and brother?
It took him some time to escape. He found out he was being held captive for something that would arise later, however, the plan fell. Zain wasn't sure what they really wanted though...All he was focused on was finding his family...A week after his escape he made his way to a ship that was heading straight for the Untied States...
In Alaska, however, his family was no where to be found. By this time, he had become a pretty depressed person, but it never stopped his on going search...He knew they were somewhere... He knew they were all still alive.
Once he traveled to the city of Chicago he found his wife who took on a stripping job. She had very little memory of him. Holly didn't remember marrying him just being in college as a couple. It didn't take her long for her memory turn come back to her though thanks to pictures. And to Zains request she stopped stripping. It was then they went searching for Zain's brother.
Xerius was found a year later in a bar a little out of Chicago. Luckily, he had his memory. He said he had been looking for Zain and Holly but had no luck. Xerius moved in to the apartments next to Zain's.
Zain started having strange dreams around the time he was twenty-seven. Many of them were about vampyres and larger felines. He didn't understand these dreams and would have disregarded them if they weren't so vividly abnormal. They weren't anything specific but often pictures of people in trouble or leopard, tigers, and lions. Because of these dreams he started learning more about these vampyres and their goddess Nyx. Growing up, Zain was never a religious person but after seeing the things in his dreams he became very interested in the Goddess.
A year after having these dreams he found himself in a grove with his wife. In this dream, Nyx appeared to them. She told them what Zain's dreams meant and how it was only the beginning of a much bigger experience. She told them both they would be the first werecats to ever exist and that would also be marked as matured werecats to help others. Zain would be a tracker for three years time. She told them werecats should be kept secret until the time was right. Holly and Zain awoke with a gold filled-in crescent moon with tattoos coming out from each side.
At the age of twenty-eight Nyx visited him in a dream letting him no he needed to adopt a girl named Logan White. He didn't question her but obeyed instead. He did just as she asked, with Holly, adopted the fifteen year old Logan. The couple knew she would end up being a werecat fledgling and accepted her as their daughter.
The house had quiet a few other fledglings after Logans marking. He and Holly taught them what they knew.
Three years time Nyx told Zain and Holly it was time to head to the House of Night where werecats, red vampyres, and vampyres will be living civilly.[THE PUPPETEER]
