Personality:
Estelle is a very smart woman. She is really sweet and caring toward anyone until they threaten her or the House of Night. She wants to find true happiness with one guy and is somewhat of a hopeless romantic. She is very outgoing and outspoken, some refer to her as “rude” though she likes to say she’s “truthful” in most cases. She has a different sense of humor. She will laugh at something others would not and won't laugh at what others may find funny. She also has a habit converting the most serious of tasks into childish versions of it. Although, it mainly runs through her head unless she knows it's okay to speak what's on her mind. That doesn't mean she can't have a serious conversation though. She's a High Priestess so being serious when needed is a must. She just likes to have a little fun.
Estelle is probably more creative than most people. She loves art. She often can sit and draw for hours upon hours, and also sings, writes, and plays the piano; though there's not much that she loves more than art.
Calm, most of the time. She really doesn't get mad unless she needs too, and she looks at the best in things and life. Her calmness sets her differently then others though. She could be facing death and be very calm about it, which can either be a good or bad thing depending on the situation. She is also not one to complain. She has many "bizarre" theories. However, she is intelligent and very observant. She's very blunt. She's comfortable with herself and independent. She's very loyal and brave.
Kind-hearted. She will do nearly anything for someone. Very courageous person. She won't stand down even in the worst of times. She fights for what she believes is right. When she has made up her mind she usually never changes it. Estelle is a very stubborn person as well.

Powers:
She has the ability to heal wounds and practically any other injury that one may possess. She cannot heal the dead and they cannot heal herself. She places her palm of her hand above the injury (hovering just above it) and channels all their energy into the palm of their hand. The person being healed would feel a huge warm sensation. The worse the injury the longer it takes to heal. She also has the ability to read minds, Telepathy. She can feel others emotions with great ease. At first Estelle felt everything others felt and had no control over it. But now, she can sense peoples emotions without them affecting her. Her empathy can sometimes let her read minds. She can tune into someones thoughts like a radio station although some things, like deep secrets, are harder to hear. She is blocked by some people. She also was the affinity for Air. Air will do anything she asks of her because Air knows Estelle never abuses. She also has Shadows. She can easily become a part of the shadows around her or even travel through the shadows.
History:
Esperanza Gurrea wasn't born into a wealthy family. Kamie Gurrea was a very abusive mother who was an alcoholic and a drug addict. Her father Carlos Gurrea, raised the little girl in France. Carlos had came from Spain to France where he met Kami Lula. Kamie wasn't always a drug addict. She used to be very sweet and loving. Not even Carlos knows why she changed though... it remains still a mystery.
He worked at a Clinic so he could provide himself and his baby girl. He refused to give Kami any money do to the drugs which caused her to leave Carlos and Esperanza. Esperanza was only ten when she left. Even though she wanted her mother to get better she only got worse and more abusive. No matter how much Carlos tried to stop it Kami always found a way to hit and boss around Esperanza like a slave. She wasn't sad when her mom left. It was for the best. Carlos though, took it a little harder. He had so much hope in something so hopeless.
To take up her time, she found art to be her favorite hobby. From painting, drawing, photography, and home designing she could never get enough of it.
She lived a 'normal' life considering. She had more vampyre friends then human friends growing up. People at her school picked on her and hated on her for liking vampyres but it never did bother her. She enjoyed getting out and having fun.
When she was fourteen a group come along and had a few words with her father. Eventually, things become very bad and no matter how much Carlos and Esperanza tried calming things down they didn't give in. Her father learned quickly this group didn't have a good reason for the way the were acting and they eventually cornered him. He was attacked by five people. As soon as Esperanza found her father she took him to a hospital. When he recovered the two moved to Spain to avoid that group altogether... The police never did find them so they felt it was to best choice.
A few months later Carlos and Ezperanza left for the park. They never made it there though. There had been a road block that a group of gang members set up. They forced them both into a car, drugged them both, and took off with them. A few days later she woke up in a cellar with an older man staring her down. There were a bunch of people there that come in to feed her and give her clean clothes. What she found most weird about these people is they never touched her, hit her, hurt her... just fed her crappy food and never let her leave the cellar. The worst part was... she had no idea where her father was or if he was even alive.
It took her some time to escape. Three months. When she did she immediately went searching for her dad. Luckily, the house next to them had been empty when she broke in and even luckier her dad was there in that basement. What stunned her the most is no one was around. Not one of the people holding her and her dad was to be found.
They took off straight to the police. The police told them the group had been caught robbing some houses that day. Carlos told them where they lived and what had happened to them. Esperanza learned that this group kept people for five months to study them, then after the studying they started experimenting on them with different kinds of drugs... even drugs they made themselves. After the experimenting they deposed of them. She couldn't even begin to wonder what would have happened if she were there longer....
The next day Esperanza and her dad decided to go for a walk to the store. She had been excited all day that day to have some real food in her system... not that crud those people fed her. Even though she had a horrible cold she was still excited to eat something nice! There was no way a simple cold would get in the way of something delicious.
A tracker stopped them before the reached the store. She had become Marked. Carlos took it extremely easy. They went ahead and bought food to make the last dinner they'd have together for four years. The dinner turned out perfect and Eperanza enjoyed every bit of it even though she was shocked and scared.
The next morning Carlos packed up all her things and took her to the closest House of Night. There she changed her name to Estelle Josephine. Estelle fit in well. She knew she would because of having so many vampyre friends in the past. She spent her first year studying hard and learning everything she could about Nyx. She made good friends and had normal school drama. For the first time in her life, she was truly happy.
Her fourth former year came her two gifts Empathy and Air. When her fifth former year started she came the leader of the Dark Daughters and Sons. She loved being a High Priestess in training and love being a person people could look up too. She took her group on with good heart.
She completed the Change during her sixth former year. She moved back in with her dad to continue her studies. She wanted to learn as much as possible before becoming a High Priestess of a school. Carlos provided Estelle money to buy her books and supplies and full-heartily supported her.
At the age of twenty-five she became High Priestess of the school she attended. There she met a human named Leeny Karson who became her Consort. She had lived the happiest life and thanked Nyx everyday for it. She had only wished her mother would have stopped the drugs... That never happened though and she didn't care about Estelle at all.
When Carlos and Leeny died she become ill with her losses but never gave up on her duties. She pulled through with a high head.
Estelle found a school in America who was in disparate need of a High Priestess. She gave her position to a newer High Priestess and left for America. She learned English quick and has been at the Chicago House of Night since then.[THE PUPPETEER]
