Personality: Elisa is a very distant being. She finds every excuse to be exclude herself from people. Never was she one to socialize, since she was young she hasn't. Elisa prefers silence and makes this perfectly clear in all her actions. There is also the fact that she is a... pretty outspoken person at the same time, when necessary. Injustices is the topic that can get this cold gal. At the instant moment of an injustice, Elisa reveals a passionate side to her, a truly good side of her, one she doesn't often show.
Upon being approached, Elisa instantly would raise her chin high. Pride is a big flaw in Elisa, usually claiming her actions and resulting in some form of fighting. Elisa isn't one to allow any person the chance to bruise that and will very easily defend herself, usually getting her into trouble very easily. She doesn't mind though, it's pretty instinctive for her to defend herself.

History: Elisa Luz Santiago was born in Los Angeles California to young couple Maria and Leonardo Santiago. Life was normal for the young, mischievous child, none of life's harshest tragedies could taint the bright spirit. Elisa could only be described as a spontaneous child. Everything done was done by instincts, and very good ones too. Elisa was a very alert child, quickly understanding the ways of the busy world she so loved. It was until she was 6 that she realized that life was going to be slightly more different when the dying kindle of love that her parent's managed to keep alive instantly snapped.
After the divorce, Maria, Elisa's mother, left for Colorado, taking Elisa along with her. Many years of constant fights over parental rights followed, slowly killing the innocence of the girl. Many times she attempted to find solutions to her problems, but never had one helped her situation. Finally, losing all hope of talking, venting, searching for answers, she left at the age of 14 out of Colorado using some of her mother's money and ran away, traveling to Chicago to find a long lost aunt of her's from the past only to find that she was long dead. Alone and depending on the little cash left on her, she sought to find refugee in the streets, meeting a boy by the name of Thomas Filings, a 19 year old member of a small gang group. Thomas easily took the young girl, on the condition that she would fit all his personal needs. Having no choice, Elisa agreed, selling not only the last of her innocence, but hope for a better future.
The agreement didn't last long as Elisa realized the world she brought herself into was no different from her old one. Like Thomas, she too became a fugitive on the run, constantly battling the everyday troubles on the streets. The injustices surrounding her always made her sick. The endless immoral acts and words constantly haunted the her with each step she took deeper into the bloody world. Even her relationship with Thomas sank, reflecting and taunting that similar to her parents, driving her near to insanity. Upon turning fifteen, Elisa was on the run again, finding herself once again alone. It was one faithful night in which all hope seemed lost until a dark figure approached her while she was in searching of a place to eat. Before anything can be done, Elisa Luz Santiago was marked and forever enslaved to a life as a Werecat. Soon after she was transferred in the Chicago House of Night as one of the few Werecats known in the school. Her spirit rose as she realized her new found powers, constantly growing stronger and more enclosed by the weeks. It was the new fresh start that Elisa had dreamed of, and it was one she was planning to protect for the rest of her life.[THE PUPPETEER]
