Personality: Conceited: Gabriel is the Goddess's gift to women. His face is the moon, and his eyes are the stars. He is very in shape, and not only does he know it, he makes sure others know it. It isn't uncommon to see him without a shirt.
Charming: Whether it's a smile, a wink, or a kiss on the hand, Gabriel is sure to melt many hearts during his time at CHoN.
Competitive: Gabriel lost once. He didn't like it. Now, he strives to come in first, no matter how great the challenge.
Protective: After having his own family turn him away, he vowed to always be there to defend those he loves. While he doesn't get physical as his first course of action, he won't hesitate to start swingin'.

Linguist: He has an uncanny ability to be able to speak most any language fluently with little practice. Exceptions are Asian languages, as well as Arabic. He just can't seem to get those right.
Though it's not really a power, he does seem to be exceptionally talented with a bow, though not inhumanly so. It took a lot of practice to get where he is.
History: Miguel Soto was born into a highly religious Catholic family in Gualaceo, Ecuador. They lived a simple life. Young Miguel would go to school, and when he wasn't in school or church, he would help his father work the land. Years and years of pushing a plow molded Miguel into a solid young man. In August of his fifteenth year, a Tracker met up with him on his way from school. Frightened about what he had become, he ran home to get help from his family. However, they wanted nothing to do with this demon child, and they ran him off of the property.
He arrived at the House of Night in Quito a few days later, where he learned to accept and even love what he had become, leaving Miguel Soto behind and becoming Gabriel Chavez. He met Maria and quickly became enamored. Throughout their third and fourth form years, the two were nigh inseparable. They would spend night after night studying together. He helped her with the histories, while she helped him with his foreign languages. He just couldn't seem to grasp them. All was well, until December of their fifth form year. It seemed Maria decided that sleeping with the history teacher was an easier way to pass the class. Gabriel discovered the affair when he walked by the classroom and saw Señor Lopez touching Maria. Enraged, Gabriel set upon Señor Lopez like a man possessed. When they finally got him off of the other man, he told them what he had seen. Señor Lopez of course denied it, but he hadn't expected Maria to go along with it. He was immediately transferred to Chicago.
Moving to America frightened Gabriel. He was in an unfamiliar country where they spoke a language in which he struggled to say the most basic phrase. He was beyond surprised, however, when he found he could understand everyone perfectly. What's more, he. Oils speak back! The goddess had blessed him with a gift of tongues. Now he is at the Chicago House of Night, ready for whatever awaits him.[THE PUPPETEER]
