Personality:

Catori is a very bold young woman. She doesn't believe in not saying exactly what she thinks and nothing less. One thing that this personality trait ensures is that Catori doesn't lie. If she says anything to you, it's certainly true. Catori is not a liar. However, this also tends to mean that she doesn't always think things through. Catori tends to be one who acts more on the spur of the moment than anything else. She's not much of a thinker. Instead, Catori does what she wants when she wants it. She speaks her mind without hesitation, no matter who is around. This can be a positive trait in some situations, and it can just as much be a negative trait. But either way, Catori doesn't care. She's not too bothered by what other people think. Instead, Catori stays true to herself.

A girl with a rebel streak a mile wide, Catori isn't one who will sit back and do what she's told. Her actions depend on who is trying to tell her what to do, however. If it's someone she doesn't respect or dislikes, she will do the exact opposite of what they tell her to do, no matter what the consequences might be. On the other hand, if someone Catori honestly likes or respects that's telling her what to do, she'll tend to do what they want her to do. However, if one asks Catori to do something, that will be much more effective than ordering her. Catori's much more inclined to do what someone asks her to do rather than what someone tells her to do.

Friendly and outgoing, Catori typically doesn't find it very hard to make friends. She rarely feels shy or awkward and therefore has no problems with randomly chatting up people that she has never met before. Of course, this tends to mean that Catori doesn't necessarily make very many close friends, but that's all right with her. She's more of 'a bunch of friends rather than a few close friends' kind of people, and besides, even if she's not happy, Catori's not exactly inclined to complain. Instead, she's more likely to listen to the complaints of others. Catori's protective of her friends, especially of the ones that she deems as weaker than herself.

A huge flirt when there are cute guys around, Catori can easily make enemies because of her tendency to flirt with guys whether or not they are taken. For Catori, it's mostly a game. She's not too interested in a real relationship at the moment, so she doesn't see anything wrong with flirting with any guy that crosses her path. After all, she doesn't really intend anything with it, so why should people get worked up about it? This can make her seem naive, at least in this respect.

4. being alone - well, there's a reason Catori tends to have a wide social circle. above all, she's afraid of being abandoned and left alone for the rest of her life.

History:

Annabelle and Jason Montgomery met in high school. They both lived in a small town in Florida, and both wanted to make it big in the culinary world. So, when they graduated from college, they met back up and moved to New York City. There, they started their own restaurant. It slowly gained in fame and popularity until it became a fairly well respected place that could pretty much always count on good reviews and on a steady stream of customers. That was the world that Catori was born into. It was the only world that she knew. When she got out of daycare, her parents always took her back to the restaurant. The patrons came to recognize the petite girl with silvery-blue eyes as Isabelle, called simply Belle, and they often cooed over her.

From a very young age, Isabelle was loved. Sure, her parents were busy, but the patrons of their restaurant more than made up for that. And once her parents got off work, well, they were all Isabelle's. She never suffered from a lack of love or a lack of money. They weren't rich, but they had enough money and then some. She got most of what she wanted, come Christmas time.

When Belle was ten years old, they moved to Chicago in their first attempts to start a chain restaurant. The Hungry Hippo moved from New York City to Chicago in an admittedly ambitious move, but though business was slow at first, it gradually began to pick up. At sixteen as a sophomore in high school, Belle took her first job at The Hungry Hippo as a waitress. It was only fitting, then, that the restaurant that she had spent most of her life in would be the one that the Tracker found her in. There, she was marked. Her parents were actually pretty supporting of their daughter. After all, she was their daughter, vampyre or not. Of course, they mostly tried to cover up that fact when patrons asked about her, as it would be pretty bad for public relations, but they supported their daughter all the same.

And so Isabelle Montgomery, waitress became Catori Louise, vampyre.
