Personality: To the outside world, Shay is the typical playboy. He drinks, flirts, and is the life of the party. If he found a girl he truly cared about, however, he would be completely loyal. He likes to have a good time, and would be hard pressed to turn down a pickup game of rugby. But there is a side to him he rarely lets others see. Despite his seemingly ‘devil may care’ attitude, he is very self-conscious.
He has an appreciation for the finer things in life. He can play both the piano and the cello, and would actually rather go out for a walk or a picnic than party (not that he’d let anyone know). He is an avid reader, having sampled the works of Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Herman Melville, and H.G. Wells. He is a large fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, in particular. He has also found solace in poetry and chess, two things he would immerse himself in as a child. Seamus is very intelligent but, fearing ridicule, has always hidden his intelligence.

History: Seamus was born William Ferguson II to Marian and William Ferguson of Glasgow. Both parents worked in the local hospital, Marian as a nurse, and William as a surgeon. Because of the hours the hospital had them working, they didn’t spend much time with young William. His younger years were spent with his nose in a book, or playing chess by himself. He did very well in school, and the other children ridiculed him for being an egghead, or teacher’s pet.
When he was fifteen, the family moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Not long after that, Zain Carvator marked young William, leaving a gold crescent shaped outline on his forehead. His parents wanted to take him in for medical testing, but never got the chance. The young teenager left with Zain that night, leaving his parents and William Ferguson II behind.
He made his way to Chicago, where he stayed with Zain. It was there he found out that the Goddess, Nyx, had chosen him to be a werecat. Hesitant at first, Seamus (as he was now calling himself) grew to accept what he had become. During his second year with the Carvators, he shifted for the first time, becoming a melanistic leopard with deep blue eyes.
Seamus now goes through life as a typical American teen, apart from the whole werecat thing, and has recently enrolled in the House of Night.[THE PUPPETEER]
