Personality: An overly protective aunt, Maria can’t help but try to keep Night away from everyone. Her slight paranoia over her only family, her niece. She doesn’t mean to be the terrible person she seems do to her high expectations for anyone that may court her precious Night. If someone tried harming her or her family, Nyx help you she has connections that could make a rock cry and crumble in fear at what she can do when it comes to protecting the ones she loves.
She was trained for military action before she was marked and changed. She was rebellious in her youth as she joined the French military in hopes of becoming a strong and independent woman. When her sister died she took that military experience and put it to use in protecting her niece as she took her in yet there were many times and still are times that Night will disappear or run away because of her over protectiveness.

History:
Maria, second born of two beautiful girls. She was the strong, rebel, fighter, military officer, never much of a lover except of her family. "Ria you shouldn't fight love... you should fight for it." Artemis said to her younger sister as they walked across the courtyard of the French private school. "Artemis you're too easy going about trusting people." Maria said sighing. The two young girls found a spot under a large tree. "I think I'll join the military when i get older." She said laying on the grass looking up at the clouds covering the sun. "Promise you'll come home alive to visit and I'll accept that though mom may not." Airi said gently as she hugged her knees. "Of course i can't just leave you here and not check in on you." Maria laughed.
Those were the days... maria though looking over the will the family lawyer had brought to her. "Artemis... what will i do without you here? How am i supposed to take care of her in your absence?" She asked looking at the picture of her and Artemis in the hospital when Night was born. "She's a traumatized five year old, how do i even start if i have no idea where she is?" Maria asked the picture again. "Last anyone saw her was at her fathers home where you and Yukito's ashes were found with the ashes of the house." Poor thing from what i was told she was seen covered in blood, your blood then the place set fire and burned to the ground." Maria tried not to cry at the image of her niece covered in her sister's blood.
The sight of blood never bothered her. In her youth Maria round reasons to fight. as she got older and joined the military she was often being challenged because she was a woman. she eagerly kicked any ass that belittled her. when people bother her sister for her white hair she'd get right into fighting mode. When someone messed with her family in any negative way she would fight. But when her sister, niece and brother in law left for japan for the second time, night's fifth year of life she couldn't do anything for them while she was rejoining the military after changing to an adult blue vampyre. The night of Night's fifth birthday it happened and the only persons with the details were the murderer and Night who never speaks of the incident.[THE PUPPETEER]
