Personality: At first glance Lilly is your average teenage girl, obsessed with friends, enjoys looking good, always ready to talk about boys along with stare at them. She enjoys shopping, hanging out and all of your usual teenage stuff, that was until she went to the House of Night. There she quickly learned that it was often looked down upon for a vampire and werecat to have a relationship and this has made her somewhat self conscious about herself, even though she knows she is a pretty girl; at least now that it seems her choice in men are somewhat limited. She won’t be crushed by a vampyre refusing to go out with her but she finds it disappointing and frustrating at times and if she did end up with a vampyre she would work to prove their relationship is nothing that should be frowned upon. With that said Lilly is a very stubborn girl, once she puts her mind to something she does it or dies trying so to speak. She is also extremely loyal to her friends, once you have a friend in her she will be there through good times and bad and have your back no matter what even in a fight.

Her personality most of the time can be considered friendly and outgoing and she tries to have a upbeat, positive attitude most of the time, but even she isn’t perfect and she has her days were she is down or angry. When shes down its easy to tell because she is quieter and almost seems shy or lost in her own little world, while when she is angry she has a quick temper and is quick to snap but quick to apologize if she takes her anger out on a friend or someone she cares about. Lilly prefers to be with a small group of friends and on occasions alone, and has been finding herself enjoying alone time a little more often since moving to the House of Night. Some of her favorite activities to do with friends are shopping, horseback riding, and of course sit around and talk but Lilly does also like a good book.

Another aspect of her personality is that Lilly can be manipulative when she wants to be using her charm and good lucks if she needs something, but she always feels guilty about doing this. She can also be quite sneaky when she wants to be, but like being manipulative she tends to feel guilty after doing something sneaky as well.

History: Lilly was born and raised in New Mexico and lived there for most of her life. Growing up she was raised in a small quite neighborhood, that was more of a dead end street, but one of those streets where everyone knew everyone and her neighbors would always tell her parents if she was up to mischief so Lilly was always on her best behavior. She was the one who spent most of her time trying to get her childhood friends out of trouble. The best summer of her life though was when she was ten years old and her, and her friends built a tree fort that expanded over five trees with her parents in a wooded area at the end of her street. She and her friends spent her entire summer up there, and the next several summers playing up in the trees. Lilly had many of her firsts up there, her first kiss, first broken bone when she fall from a tree and broke her arm one day, and first heartbreak when her first boyfriend broke up with her. Then the summer before high school started the community cut the wooded area down to expand on the road and while she was heart broken over the lost it was soon forgotten when she started high school.

She attended Albuquerque High and quickly made friends with one of the girls whose father was a alumni on the school bored and became best friend to one of the most popular girls in school. While Lilly was obsessed with being popular it felt good knowing that everyone knew her and she never had to sit or eat alone. Lilly soon began to realize that popularity wasn’t everything when she saw how some of her so called ‘friends’ were treating their classmates. One day Lilly had decided to confront the popular kids about it and was quickly dismissed as being a dork herself and ‘expelled’ from the popular kids clique not that she minded if it meant that she was better than those snobs. It didn’t help though that the very next day she was Marked in front of her entire class in the middle of the 9th grade hall during class change. She had run from the building covering her face as a golden crescent had appeared on her forehead and then she had continued running until she had reached home. Lilly had run into her parents loving and caring arms. Her mother offered to send her to the Albuquerque House of Night but Lilly wanted to be sent far away where no one would recognize her and where she could get a fresh start.

The next day Lilly was on a plane with her parents that was heading towards Chicago. She was glad that her parents were accepting of her condition and didn’t look at her as if she was a freak or monster. They seemed to understand that her world had changed and turned upside down and were completely supportive of her. It was at the House of Night though that the realization of everything kicked in. She learned that she would be a guardian for vampyres and would feel this bond towards a certain vampyre like a brother or sister and how the whole vampyre/werecat relationship thing worked. At first she was down hearted to learn that all of the cute vampyre guys may never fall for her, but she was determined to make a fresh start in the school and in her life, comforted by the fact that her parents were always a phone call or text away.
